The Role of HDPE
Although brine tanks are generally categorized as Polyethylene-based, the use of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) — a specialized, high-strength form of PE — is the secret behind their long-term endurance in water treatment environments. For instance, in AVANO’s FRP Composite Vessels, HDPE is used as an inner liner layer, completely eliminating corrosion and rust — both critical concerns for any component in direct contact with water and chemicals.
By applying this same durable, corrosion-resistant HDPE material to our brine tanks, we ensure structural integrity, leak prevention, and long-lasting performance, even under prolonged exposure to brine.
